Our Work

Four Winds is a source of community for Denver Native Americans, providing resources to meet cultural and physical needs while activating our community members to fight for political change.

Through our programs, we are working to create a strong, healthy, unified, and self-determining Native American community in Denver.

Survival Program

We provide direct support to our community members in need through a variety of services.

Spirit Fund

For community members who've recently lost a loved one, we provide limited financial support to partially cover funeral costs and other related costs. In addition, we make our facility available free-of-charge for wakes, funerals, and memorials.

Cultural Connections

We host a variety of events and activities focused on reconnecting our community members to each other and our cultural practices.

Community Defense

We teach personal self-defense classes and organize to assist community members facing evictions and criminal charges.

Activism & Advocacy

We support grassroots activism and policy advocacy with research, resources, and organizing assistance.
